White foam panels will oxidize and turn yellow within 3–7 days of unpacking. For cinema soundproofing, black is the practical and professional choice — it does not discolor, it absorbs light to reduce screen reflection, and it gives any screening room a finished, intentional appearance.

I gotta say I’m astounded by the way these panels fluffed up, of course they came vacuum packed, but as soon as I slit the plastic, in literally these things took all of 1 minute (not a typo) 1 minute and they both were at full expansion all on their own, couldn’t believe it and these things have some weight to them, i’ve ordered several different brands and the way I test them for quality is to put your mouth to them and blow through and see how much resistance they have, these have resistance, more than most, pretty pleased with everything about them, think I’ll get 8 more just because of the many uses
It's really great. I recommend this product. When I first received it, I thought the seller had sent me the wrong product. I opened the package with a skeptical attitude. The mat expanded very quickly and finally reached the size described by the seller. The actual product is the same as the picture and the thickness is the same. It is amazing how quickly they expand. This time I just tried to buy one to try it out. I am already planning to buy more.

The product seems to be of good quality.
I bought these panels for my home recording setup and I am very happy with them. Some pieces looked a bit compressed when I first opened the package, but that was expected because of vacuum packing. I used the method mentioned by the seller — soaking them in water and gently stretching the dents. After that, the foam expanded quickly and reached its normal thickness. Once installed, the panels worked well in reducing noise and improving sound clarity. They are lightweight, easy to cut, and look nice on the wall. Delivery was on time and everything was well packed. For the price, the quality is excellent and I plan to order more soon: )

I think the reason why this panel performed so well, was because the 'egg crate' style of hills and valleys were smaller and closer together than most of the other standard sized egg crate sound panels and that added more surface area and caught more of the sound - Brilliant!!
