🔺 Sound Hits the Wall. Pyramid Absorbs It.
Large format pyramid sound absorbing panels — 120 × 60 cm — for studio walls and bar rooms where absorbed sound means better recordings, cleaner audio, and quieter atmospheres.
What you get
How pyramid absorption works on a wall
When sound waves hit a flat wall, they reflect back into the room at nearly the same energy — this is what creates echo, reverb, and flutter. When sound hits a pyramid-profiled panel instead, three things happen. First, the pyramid tips intercept the wave at multiple angles simultaneously. Second, the angled faces redirect energy down into the foam body rather than back into the room. Third, the foam converts that sound energy into heat as it passes through the dense polyurethane material. At NRC 0.92, 92% of incident sound energy is absorbed this way — leaving only 8% to reflect back. On a studio wall this means a dramatically cleaner recording environment. In a bar it means a noticeably quieter room.

Who is this for?
Studio owners and engineers who understand that sound absorption is a measurable property and want panels with verified specifications — NRC 0.92 and 50 lbs per cubic yard are not marketing claims but independently tested figures that tell you exactly what you are buying. Bar owners who have noticed the noise level in their venue makes conversation difficult or drives customers away — acoustic absorption on the wall is the direct remedy and these pyramid panels deliver it with a design finish. The large format means 2 panels gives you 1.44 m² of high-absorption surface — enough to make an immediately measurable difference in either space. How to install
⚠️ Important note about white foam
White foam panels will oxidize and turn yellow within 3–7 days of unpacking. Absorption performance is not affected but wall appearance changes significantly. Black is the standard for studios. Bold colors suit bars. Grey is the practical neutral for any space.
Good to know before ordering
- Each panel is 120 × 60 cm — 2 panels provides 1.44 m² of high-absorption wall surface
- Available in 1, 2, or 4 panel packs — 2 panels is the effective minimum for both studio and bar treatment
- High density (NRC 0.92, 50 lbs/yd³, SGS certified) is the absorption choice — medium density does not deliver comparable results
- Medium density does not contain flame retardant — not suitable for studios or commercial bar environments
- For permanent bar installations use construction adhesive — holds better than tape in high-traffic commercial environments
- Panels arrive vacuum-compressed — allow 24–48 hours after opening for full expansion
- White foam turns yellow within 3–7 days — choose black, grey, or a color suited to your space
- Custom sound absorption layouts available on request — contact the store for details
