Sound absorption improves how a room sounds from the inside — reducing echo and reverb. Sound isolation prevents sound from escaping or entering through walls and doors. These panels do both. The high-density triangular groove foam absorbs energy inside the room while the mass and coverage of the panels on walls, doors, and ceilings reduces how much sound passes through to neighboring rooms or outside the building. For KTV rooms and home studios in apartments or shared buildings, combining all three surfaces — walls, door, and ceiling — gives the most effective isolation result.

How to install for maximum isolation
⚠️ Important note about white foam
White foam panels will oxidize and turn yellow within 3–7 days of unpacking. This does not affect acoustic performance or isolation. If appearance matters, choose one of the other 7 available colors.
Good to know before ordering
- Three thickness options: 1″, 2″, and 3″ — always choose the thickest option your budget and wall depth allow for isolation
- Available in 6, 12, 24, or 48 panel packs — 48 panels covers walls and ceiling for a full room build
- High density (NRC 0.92, SGS certified) is essential for isolation — medium density is not suitable
- For 3-inch panels use strong adhesive or panel pins — included tape alone may not hold long-term
- Panels arrive vacuum-compressed — allow 24–48 hours after opening for full expansion
- White foam turns yellow within 3–7 days — choose another color if appearance matters
- Custom isolation layouts available on request — contact the store for bespoke acoustic solutions

Good product (we ordered one first before ordering ... a lot) Packaging was excellent, all vacuum sealed. Sadly I ordered enough to trigger NZ's customs getting involved, so it look 2 months, not 10 days. Oh well, my fault.
